This piece is extremely important to me because it was started during a depressive episode I was having. The texture in the canvas is inspired by the battle scars we all hold, and despite our trials and tribulations, we don't look like what we've been through. Through all the pain, we are still beautiful. The gold and blue represents the sun rising over the ocean, reminding you that youre here another day...
